Age Old Tradition at Halfpenny Green Vineyards

Date: Friday, 5th September 2008

Description:

An opportunity to see a successful farm diversification project. At Halfpenny Green vineyards the first 1/2 acre of vines were planted in 1983 and by 1991 a further 22 acres had been added. A new winerywas built in 2005 to replace the original, built in 1994. 50-60,000 bottles of both red and white wines are produced at Halfpenny Green each year and they have storage facilities for 90,000 litres.
